Vinilia Wine Resort

VINILIA WINE RESORT is a new touristic reality located in the countryside of Manduria, in the northern part of Saltno. It is also famous "The Messapians City" and the "City of Primitivo". Manduria extends in the territory between the Ionian inland and in the middle of highland of Murge tarantine. In the same time it is equidistant from the cities of Taranto, Lecce and Brindisi. Following on from this the town motto "Salento has an heart".

VINILIA WINE RESORT comes from a careful renovation of an ancient dwelling dating around the early 1900's, belonging to the aristocratic family of Schiavone di Manduria. The designer of the building was inspired by a neo-ecletic style that was typical of the Roman school in that time. The building looks like an ancient manor, provided by towers and turrets, battlements, loopholes and the main part reminds us a small medieval castle. In the historical maps the building is identified as  "Casina Ciraci', although we don't know the reasons why. Lately then the building was modified and secondary structures were added.

Very interesting is the stairway that involves 3 floors and the presence of two larges cisternes. An Italian gerden decorated the southern part of the manor.

Then the building was bought by the family Lacaita/Parisi that made a complete renovation and save it from a heavy degradation. The project saved as much as possible the original wall structure, by removing the several unuseful additions and bring it to new life.

The Resort welcome its guest throush a bright hall and it offers a sophisticated and cosy environment, an ideal place where to read a book or have a tea. The rooms are provided by a modern luxury style and many of them have the typical star vault roofs. They are furnished with refinement and details care. Here you can live moments of huge wellbeing in total relax and privacy.

An elegant Lounge Bar offers breakfast service, light lunch service and where ut is possible to have a coffe or precious teas, seasonal fresh fruits and artesan patisserie.
